I’m happy to say this is our first
foray into a monthly Design Showcase newsletter. In
our infancy, our goal is to bring you up to date design
information, product news, and simple tools to make
your life more streamlined and stress free. Feel free
to email and tell us how we are doing or stop by our
showroom when in town. Our team
at Design
Showcase is varied in personality
and style, but we all enjoy the process
of working with you to make your project
satisfying as well as breathtaking.
All of us have years of schooling and
training and work experience for inside
or outside residential and commercial
projects. As you decide to work
on a new project it takes a lot of
research picking the look you want
and the budget you feel appropriate.
You want to feel comfortable with your
designer and have confidence that they
will lend the expertise in product
development that will make the end
product fit with your lifestyle and
personality. We can do that for you.
Most of time can be spent in the showroom
and our design service comes complementary
with the purchase of our vast array of
product offerings. We
can also visit your site if you need extra advice on
particular areas of concern like spacing planning,
color schemes, furniture and window treatment selection.
We do charge a nominal fee for these extra on site
appointments.
Design Showcase started
about eighteen years ago representing
cabinetry from Wood-Mode and
tile lines like Walker Zanger,
Akdo, Sonoma Tilemakers and
many others. Over the
years we have expanded our products with
window coverings, furniture, lighting,
plumbing, upholstery, and accessories. Our
goal is to be a full range full service
interior design showroom for the Napa
and Sonoma Valleys.
New Management
I have been the operator
of Design Showcase for
1½ years now. It has been exciting
working with our fine talented team and
they have made me feel welcome into this
new arena. I have enjoyed meeting ongoing
clients, local tile setters, contractors,
and designers. They have been patient
during our transition as we expanded
our showroom and added new kitchen and
bath displays. My background has been
in the garment business working for Levi
Strauss and other corporate giants as
a merchandiser of men’s and women’s
clothing. My biggest thrill was to create
a contemporary men’s line called
URBAN INTSTINCT with Peer Khan that we
managed for twelve years.
